Zephaniah
Zephaniah, which means the Lord hides or protects, was a great-great-grandson of King Hezekiah. The internal evidence of the book shows that he prophesied during the reign of King Josiah, probably before the great revival of 621 B.C. Stirred by the moral declension of his time, he foresaw the fall of Jerusalem which, in his inspired vision, became a figure of the day of the Lord. Not only so, but he also looked forward to the judgement of the Gentiles and the restoration of Israel in the Messianic kingdom. A leading theme of Zephaniah is the day of the Lord, a future event that he describes with vivid power. Zephaniah uses the term, "day of the Lord," more than any other prophet except Joel, yet he pleads with Judah to "seek the Lord" that they might be "sheltered on the day of the Lord's anger."
